The good news is that I got my period early this morning. All of my paperwork states that I needed to have it by yesterday (March 5) in order for our FET date to remain the 23rd of March. I called the nurse’s line first thing this morning. I am hoping, hoping, hoping that they only have to postpone it to the very next day since I am only 1 day past due. Everything involved in the IVF/FET process is such a timing game, your body really must cooperate with the protocol or your treatment plan can be thrown off of course at any time.
At about 12 o’clock today I got a call from the nurse…GREAT NEWS – it’s a go ahead for our FET on the original date of March 23rd. I kept asking the nurse why it didn’t have to be postponed, and she told me not to worry about it because it was only one day late. I must say that I was very shocked that they didn’t delay the transfer date because all of my paper work stated, you must begin Cycle Day 1 by March 5th, or you FET will have to be postponed. At this point, I need to stop second guessing the nurses and the doctors and be happy that everything this far is going as planned.
