Gluten Allergy Causing Infertility?
Celiac disease might be affecting your fertility without you even knowing it. Celiac disease is an allergy to gluten. Gluten is a protein that is found in most wheat, rye, barley and oats products as well as many other types of everyday foods.
A gluten allergy affects fertility by making it hard for people to absorb food properly. This results in a lack of vitamins and nutrients that the body needs so your hormones can stimulate the ovaries. This in turn can prevent ovulation.
The treatment for a gluten allergy is strictly dietary. You will need to follow a gluten-free diet and learn to balance your vitamins and nutrients properly. Once a person who suffers from gluten allergies starts a gluten-free diet, your body and fertility will go back to a healthy state. So, if you are diagnosed with celiac disease, get on your gluten-free diet as soon as possible so you can overcome infertility.
